  ### Overview

  OnlyU is a private, one-to-one messaging app. We built it with a simple

  principle: your conversations belong to you, not us.

  ### Information We Do NOT Collect

  - We do not collect your name, email address, or phone number.

  - We do not read, store, or have access to your messages or calls.

  - We do not track your location.

  - We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

  - We do not sell your data to any third party.

  ### How the App Works

  OnlyU connects you directly with one trusted person using peer-to-peer

  (WebRTC) technology. Messages and calls travel directly between your

  devices — they never pass through or are stored on our servers.

  ### Information That Passes Through Our Servers

  Our signaling server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) handles only the

  technical handshake needed to establish your device-to-device connection:

  - A randomly generated device identifier (created locally on your device)

  - A pairing token used to authenticate your connection

  - Call signaling data (e.g., "a call is starting") — not the call content

  This data is transient and is not stored after your session ends.

  ### Push Notifications

  To deliver incoming call notifications while the app is in the background,

  we use Apple PushKit (VoIP push). Your device token is sent to our

  signaling server and used solely to deliver call alerts. It is not shared

  with third parties.

  ### TURN Relay Server

  In cases where a direct peer-to-peer connection cannot be established,

  audio/video data may be relayed through a TURN server operated by

  Metered.ca. This relay only transmits encrypted data and does not store

  call content.

  ### Subscriptions

  Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive

  or store your payment information. For subscription management, please

  refer to Apple's privacy policy.

  ### Data Retention

  Messages are stored only on your device. If you enable "Clear on Exit,"

  messages are automatically deleted when you leave the app. You may delete

  all local data by uninstalling the app.

  ### Children's Privacy

  OnlyU is not intended for children under 12. We do not knowingly collect

  information from children.

  ### Changes to This Policy

  We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app

  after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
